Heritage Hotels Voucher System
Heritage Hotels wanted to offer their guest the ability to purchase personalized vouchers for themselves or as gifts. OneClick worked closely with The Heritage to understand the various requirements and translate that into an online voucher system with live credit card handling using the DPS platform.
The system allows the Hotel Group to tailor and market voucher packages for occasions and events such as Mother’s Day, allowing the public to buy, customize and deliver vouchers as gifts to their loved ones or staff or clients.
Voucher System Features
The website offers the public the following functionality via an attractive and easy to use interface:
- The ability to select a voucher package from one or any of the nine hotels
- A choice of room packages at the selected hotel
- A selection of voucher add-ons such as breakfast, champagne or chocolates
- The option of creating a monetary value voucher for one or any of the nine hotels between the value of $50 and $1000
- The option of addressing the voucher to the recipient by name and entering a personalized message that is displayed on the voucher
- An on screen preview of the voucher that has been created
- The choice of emailing the voucher directly to the recipient or printing it and delivering it personally
- Credit card payment
A backend administration system for hotel management and staff where they can:
- set up vouchers packages for each hotel
- associate add-ons to each voucher package
- set up and issue “Free Of Charge” vouchers – these are generally given away as prizes by the hotels
- view reports for of all purchased and redeemed vouchers
- resend lost vouchers to recipients by email
The system was launched in April 2010 and was extensively used for the special Mother’s Day offer.
