Healthy food guide Drupal 7 website

We migrated this from a poorly performing Drupal 6 build. It has a responsive design (Omega) with large finger-proof menu links. It has a huge number of complex Views blocks that we refined to maintain server efficiency. This project also included a subscription and content interface with two remote servers, each providing daily updates via cron scripts developed by the team. To ensure that it would scale appropriately, we placed Varnish in front of the server, carefully ensuring that user sessions could walk around the caching. Optimization was a key feature in this project.
