For as long as he can remember Jo has been fascinated by technology. As soon as he was allowed to touch it, Jo enjoyed spending time on the family computer. This well-loved machine had a habit of breaking down and Jo quickly learned how to get it back up and running again. At the tender age of 9 Jo became the family internal IT support person. From there Jo taught himself how to assemble computers from scratch which he made for family members and friends.
At eleven years, old, Jo moved from his native Malaysia to Auckland. Jo excelled at school in spite of the huge transition to a new country and new school with a completely different language and culture. Jo took all of this in his stride and graduated from Westlake Boys as a Cambridge student. He then went on to study Information Systems and Operation Research under a Bachelor of Science degree at University of Auckland (UoA).
Jo began his working life as a full stack development intern at AimyPlus and then accepted the role with OneClick as a software developer. Jo is also very creative and has a passion for innovative software projects that deliver great results.
When he is not building computers, Jo plays basketball and he is a keen photographer. Jo also loves to travel and has a dream to someday travel around the world.
